Gas pressure regulators are a type of control valves, automatically operating autonomous devices that serve to maintain a constant gas pressure in the pipeline. When regulating the pressure of the working medium in the pipeline, the initial high pressure decreases to the final low pressure. This is achieved by automatically changing the degree of opening of the throttling regulator, as a result of which the hydraulic resistance to the passing gas flow automatically changes.
