Stuffing box shut—off valves (valves) are shut-off valves, structurally made in the form of a valve, its locking element moves parallel to the axis of the flow of the working medium. Shut-off valves are used to completely overlap their flow section, and therefore stop the flow of the working medium. The locking element, which is most often a plunger in the shut-off valve, is in the extreme positions "open" or "closed" during operation.
